Description
The modern four story Waldorf Hotel is situated next to Cornelia metro station, located two kilometers from Vatican City and St Peter's Square. The 101 air conditioned guestrooms feature simple modern decor with colorful fabrics. All have televisions, telephones, and include bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can dine on a selection of Italian dishes a la carte, in the hotel restaurant, relax in the lobby bar during happy hour with a drink or cocktail, and take a city tour organized by the front desk staff. Parking (fee) is available in the surrounding area, and the hotel can also arrange airport transfers. Rome's integrated public transport system is a good way to explore the area and can be taken to visit the city's numerous sights. Cornelia metro station quickly links the area to the city center and its attractions. Rome Fiumicino airport is 35 kilometers from the hotel's vicinity. There is an hourly express train service to Rome's Termini station. Taxis to the center are readily available, but only take a licensed metered taxi. An airport surcharge is payable.
