Description
Built in the early 17th century, the Hotel Teatropace33 is a listed baroque building with a sweeping stone spiral staircase. It is located in the historic centre of Rome, just one kilometre from Vatican City. The hotel's 23 guestrooms, over four floors, feature refined, baroque style furnishings, original wooden beamed ceilings and parquet flooring. DirectionsThere is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs around 10 EUR. The hotel is three kilometres from the station, or guests can take the metro line A to Station Spagna, 1.5 kilometres away. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the hotel will cost 45 60 EUR. Alternatively the hotel offers airport transport for a fee. Rome's efficient integrated transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (metro) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. The city centre is easily negotiated on foot. Traffic in Rome is often busy and chaotic so driving is not generally recommended.
