Description
Location. The resort style Sheraton Roma Hotel in Rome, Italy, is in the modern EUR (Esposizione Universale Romana) business district. The hotel is six kiometres south of the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Vatican City. A free hotel shuttle takes guests to and from central Rome.
Hotel Features. Palm trees and benches flank the entrance to the Sheraton Roma Hotel's spacious marble lobby. Guests can browse the leather goods shop in the lobby.
The hotel's Tre Fontane restaurant, with pool views, specialises in gourmet Italian and regional cuisine and fresh seafood. The restaurant is decorated with Rome inspired artwork. Marble tables and leather seats set the scene for dancing and cocktails at Tutta Roma Piano Bar. In the summer, both Tre Fontane and Tutta Roma Piano Bar move to the poolside. At Il Vigneto, with its open kitchen and bright interior, guests enjoy Mediterranean buffets, grilled meats and salads. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
The Sheraton Roma Hotel has conference rooms, 24 hour business centre, IT helpdesk and wireless Internet access (surcharge).
A circular, outdoor pool with a fountain, sundeck and bar keeps guests cool in summer. The hotel has a fitness centre, jogging track, and tennis and squash courts.

Distance to Sheraton Roma Hotel is 18 kilometres, approximately 18 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. The hotel's complimentary shuttle bus runs from and to Termini station, also stopping at Piazza Venezia. Taxis are available to the hotel. Airport taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. The hotel also offers airport transport (surcharge). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Sheraton Roma Hotel is located in the EUR business district. The nearest metro stop is EUR Magliane. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. The hotel offers secure garage parking (surcharge).
