Description
Location. The traditional Hotel Sant Angelo in central Rome, Italy, is 500 metres from the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Popolo. The Vatican City is 700 metres away, and the Coliseum is within two kilometres.

Distance to Hotel Sant Angelo is 25 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The hotel arranges private transport to the hotel costing 49 EUR for four people. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. From Termini station, bus number 492 from Via Volturno, in front of the station, and bus number 70 from Piazza dei Cinquecento, left of the station's exit, both go to Piazza Cavour. The hotel's street, Via Marianna Dionigi, is next to the large white church. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Via Marianna Dionigi. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. Guests with cars receive discounts at a nearby car park.
Driving directions.From Rome Fiumicino Airport:
Follow signs for the ring road (Grande Raccordo Anulare/GRA).
Either take Exit 1 (Aurelia) or Exit 6 (Flaminia) in the direction of Roma Centro/Vaticano.
Follow signs for Piazza Cavour. Via Marianna Dionigi is next to the white church.
