Description
Location. Hotel Milani is located in Rome, Italy, 200 metres from Termini train station and 1.5 kilometres from the Colosseum. The Roman Forums, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and Capitoline Hill are all within 2.5 kilometres of the hotel. Hotel Features. This four storey hotel is set in an old patrician building and features marble floors, traditional paintings, sofas, plants, and flowers throughout. Hotel Milani has an Internet point and television room for guest use. Staff are available 24 {EOR} hours at the front desk, and can provide the use of a safe deposit box.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each day in the hotel's breakfast room. An American style bar serves drinks. There is no restaurant on site but a number of restaurants are available nearby.

Expert Tip. Castel Sant'Angelo, four kilometres from Hotel Milani, sits on the bank of the River Tibur in Rome. It was originally built as a tomb for Emperor Hadrian but was converted to a fortress in the Middle Ages and to a papal residence in the 16th century. There are many old rooms and exhibitions and a long passageway links it to St Peter's Basilica at the Vatican.

DirectionsFrom Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Distance to Hotel Milani is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to Hotel Milani cost a set fee of 40 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. The hotel can organise airport transfers for a surcharge (on request). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
