Description
Location. The Corot Hotel is a modern townhouse situated in the historical city centre of Rome. It is 100 metres from the Termini train station with the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Coliseum all within three kilometres. Rome Fiumicino Airport is 30 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features.Guests can start the day in the bright breakfast room and relax with drinks in the hotel bar. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer tour assistance, make reservations and arrange city tours, and parking is available for those arriving by car (surcharge).
Guestrooms. Corot Hotel offers 28 air conditioned guestrooms located on three floors, which have simple modern decor and wooden floors. All include satellite television, direct dial phones, Internet connections, safes, hair dryers and minibars.
Expert Tip. One of the great symbols of Rome is the first century AD Coliseum, the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. The Coliseum, the baroque Trevi Fountain, and many museums in the city are within three kilometres of the hotel.

DirectionsGetting there. There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes), 100 metres from the hotel. A single ticket costs around 10 EUR. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the city centre will cost 50 60 EUR. Rome's efficient integrated transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (Metro) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. A single ticket (BIT) costs 1 EUR, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus journeys and one metro trip. The historic city centre is easily negotiated on foot. Driving is not recommended for visitors.
