Description
Location. The Art Deco Bettoja Atlantico Hotel in central Rome, Italy, is located on Esquilino Hill, 300 metres from the Opera House and Santa Maria Maggiore basilica and within one kilometre of the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain. The Via Cavour exit of Termini railway station is 100 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in a renovated 1930s building and retaining its Art Deco features, the grand Bettoja Atlantico Hotel has a 24 hour front desk and multilingual concierge staff on hand to book tickets.
The hotel's wood panelled lobby bar has a white alabaster bar counter, etched with Bacchanalian images. The rooftop garden terrace enjoys views across Rome and serves drinks and snacks. Complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily in the hotel. Mosaics and wood panels decorate Restaurant 21 in neighbouring Hotel Mediterraneo, which serves Italian cuisine and is connected to the Bettoja Atlantico Hotel's lobby.
The hotel has meeting rooms, a business centre, complimentary wireless Internet access and a guest computer with 24 hour Internet access. Complimentary newspapers are provided in the lobby.

Distance to Bettoja Atlantico Hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The Via Cavour exit of Termini station is 100 metres from the hotel. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis from Termini to the hotel cost about 3 EUR and 1 EUR for each piece of luggage. Taxis from the airport to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. On request, the hotel can also arrange private transport. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Via Cavour. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. Secure parking is available near to the hotel.
Driving directions. From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Take the A1 Fiumicino/Roma in the direction of Eur.
Exit at Eur Roma Centro.
Follow Via Cristoforo Colombo as far as the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.
Continue on Via Merulana towards Stazione Termini until reaching the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
The hotel is close to the corner of Via Cavour and Via G Amendola.
